Don't Dress For Dinner -- Farce From Boeing Boeing Writer

Buy Tickets COMP - $12.50 $12 - $25

Don't Dress for Dinner is the hilarious and stylish sequel to the classic Boeing Boeing. Ten years have passed and the roguish stars of Boeing Boeing, Robert and Bernard, have "settled down." But that doesn't stop the rush of sexy shenanigans, mix-ups and wild coincidences that keep this farce moving from curtain up. Bernard's plan for a rendezvous in the countryside with his mistress takes an unexpected turn when his wife decides to stay in town for a tryst of her own with Robert ... who had supplied Bernard with his alibi. With a cook named Suzette, a lover named Suzanne, a confused friend and a suspicious wife, you have all the ingredients for a truly scrumptious comedic soufflé. The Guardian called Don't Dress for Dinner "a near faultless piece of theatrical invention." Enjoy all the farcical fun at the Pocket Sandwich Theatre in Dallas.

Magical Broadway Favorite Pippin Returns to the Stage

Buy Tickets $6 - $12.50 $12 - $25

Bursting with one showstopping number after another, Pippin is the hip, anachronistic fairy tale featuring fabulous music from three-time Oscar-winning composer Stephen Schwartz (Wicked). The musical follows the son of Charlemagne, leader of the Holy Roman Empire, as he struggles to find meaning in his life. On his journey, Pippin samples the glories of the battlefield, the wisdom of a grandmother, the intrigues of political power, the pleasures of the flesh and simple farm life -- all as part of his quest to find where he fits in. It's a magical, musical fairy tale that is just as entertaining and thought-provoking as when it debuted 40 years ago. Get swept away in the fanciful, moving Pippin when it descends on the Firehouse Theatre in Farmers Branch.

The Minotaur: Modern Take on a Classic Greek Myth

Buy Tickets $17.50 - $25 $35 - $50

Who controls your life's narrative? Just because the chorus says "That is how things should be," does that mean you must abide it? The myth of the Minotaur, the literally bull-headed monster trapped in a labyrinth, and the warrior who takes off across the ocean to defeat him gets a thoroughly modern makeover from playwright Anna Zieglar (Photograph 51, Dov and Ali). Modern technology both advances and complicates the story, and the show's traditional chorus is replaced with frequent joke subjects a priest, a rabbi and a lawyer. With refreshing originality and wit, The Minotaur offers a contemporary take on love, honor and human connection. Don't miss this thought-provoking play at Theatre Three in Dallas.

Step into the rustic decor of the Old Mill Inn -- surrounded by dark wood, hand-carved beams and vintage stonework -- and you're in the perfect setting for an evening of mystery and intrigue. Indeed, the historic landmark building is said to be haunted by the spirit of an old German cook named Hilda who died by falling (or being pushed) into a vat of her famous bread dough. At Keith and Margo's Ultimate Murder Mystery Dinner, you'll have a murder mystery of your own to investigate. As you enjoy a three-course dinner featuring award-winning chicken-fried steak with cream gravy (vegetarian options available), the action will unfold all around you -- and you'll get drawn into it by the homicide detective (a professional stand-up comedian) who considers you a suspect. Deemed "the masterminds of the genre" (Los Angeles Times), Keith and Margo's improvisational actors mingle amongst you as you follow clues and try to solve the crime. The murderer might be sitting right next to you ... A prize goes to the person who's the best sleuth!

FC Dallas makes their triumphant return to the field for the 2017 season, fresh off their thrilling and decisive 4-2 win over the New England Revolution in the last year's U.S. Open Cup Final. There's nothing quite like an FC Dallas match at the soccer-specific Toyota Stadium, from the festive pre-game tailgates to the passionate singing, chanting and jumping of supporters' groups like the Dallas Beer Guardians and Lone Star Legion. And that's to say nothing of the action on the field, where an explosively powerful offense and a finely balanced defense put every challenger through their paces. In 2017, sharpshooter Maximiliano Urruti, talented playmaker Mauro Diaz and their teammates are gunning for another conference-topping season, coached by former Dallas midfielder and MLS Best XI player Óscar Pareja. Shiloh Rules: A Civil War Re-enactment Comedy

Buy Tickets COMP - $10 $20

Set during a contemporary re-enactment of the 1862 Battle of Shiloh, this sharply observed comedy written by Doris Baizley aims its sights at two women -- one a Union nurse, the other a Confederate refugee -- who are battling for the esteemed title of Best Female Re-enactor of the Year. As the competition (intensified by their young trainees and the goading of a concessionaire) increases, it leads to real conflict with an African-American female park ranger with no interest in being in 1862. Amidst all the laughs, Shiloh Rules, playing at ONSTAGE in Bedford, also shines a light on some thoughtful themes, suggesting that perhaps not all of the conflicts of the Civil War were buried after the battles ended.
